Every MCP server, skill and plugin, in one place

Claude Code's extensions live in a handful of settings files, per user and per project. Tenfold's Claude Code tab lists them all, shows where each one applies, and lets you add, switch on and remove them safely.

Claude Code can be extended in five ways, and each one can be set up for you everywhere, for one project, or for a whole team. That’s powerful, and it’s hard to see at a glance. Tenfold’s Claude Code tab in Settings makes it visible. Open Settings with ⌘, and choose Claude Code.

Five categories

A folder menu at the top picks which project you’re looking at.

Installed, and where it applies

Installed groups what’s set up right now by where it applies: Everywhere, This project, just me, This project, shared with team, and From plugin. Click a row for everything about it. Secrets stay masked until you reveal them.

The everyday actions are right on the row: approve a team server, sign in to a server, or switch a skill or plugin on or off. A skill can be On, Name only (Claude sees just the name, which saves context), Only when I type /name, or Off.

Discover

Discover is a catalogue of tools, skills, plugins and agents you can search, filter and sort. Tenfold’s recommendations and the plugin marketplaces Claude Code has added come first, community directories after. Searches also go live to the MCP Registry, Smithery, skills.sh and claude-plugins.dev. Those directories receive your search terms, and nothing about your code.

Add a server from a README

Choose Add a tool and paste whatever the README gives you: a URL, a command like npx, uvx or docker, a claude mcp add … line, or a JSON snippet. Tenfold fills in the form. If the JSON holds several servers, you can add them all at once. New skill and New agent create a valid template and open it in your editor.

Changes made the safe way

Claude Code reads its setup when a session starts. When a change affects open sessions, Restart & resume restarts each idle session with the same conversation, and leaves busy ones alone.

This tab is one part of Tenfold, a Mac app for running Claude Code agents side by side.

Questions

How do I see which MCP servers Claude Code is using?

In Tenfold, open Settings with ⌘, and choose the Claude Code tab. Installed lists every MCP server, skill, plugin, agent and hook, grouped by where it applies: everywhere, this project just for you, this project shared with your team, or from a plugin.

How do I add an MCP server to Claude Code from a README?

Choose Add a tool and paste whatever the README gives you: a URL, an npx, uvx or docker command, a claude mcp add line, or a JSON snippet. Tenfold fills in the form, and adds every server if the JSON holds several.

Where can I find MCP servers and skills for Claude Code?

Tenfold's Discover catalogue lists tools, skills, plugins and agents. Trusted listings come first: Tenfold's recommendations and the plugin marketplaces Claude Code has added. When you search, it also searches the MCP Registry, Smithery, skills.sh and claude-plugins.dev live.

Do changes apply to Claude Code sessions that are already running?

Claude Code reads MCP servers, plugins and most settings when a session starts. When a change affects open sessions, Tenfold offers Restart & resume, which restarts each idle session with the same conversation.
