You don’t need a window full of terminals to know your agents are fine. Tenfold puts them in the one part of the screen you never use: the notch.
Three sizes
- At rest, the notch looks almost like the hardware one. With sessions open, it widens a little and shows one colored dot per session. While an agent works, a live activity strip drops below it.
- On hover, it widens into a compact status bar.
- On click, it opens the full panel: a strip of session tabs, the active terminal and a status bar. Drag either bottom corner to resize it, and press ⌘P to pin it open.
When an agent needs you, its buddy knocks
Every session has a buddy, a small pixel character whose face and posture follow what the agent is doing. When an agent stops for a permission or a question, its buddy hangs under the notch and knocks. Hover the notch and the prompt slides out, so you can answer it without switching windows.
In the panel, ⌘J jumps to the next session that needs you, and the sessions grid (⌘G) shows one card per session, where you can answer prompts too.
Fold the whole Workspace away
Press ⌘D in the Workspace and it folds into the notch. Press ⌘D in the panel to bring it back. Nothing restarts, and your agents keep working the whole time. While the Workspace has focus, the notch steps off the screen so it doesn’t sit on the window’s toolbar.
Everything a small panel needs
- A launcher, to start a session: pick an agent and a folder.
- Terminals, one tab per session.
- Git (⌘B) for the active session’s repository.
- Usage (⌘U) and Settings (⌘,).
Press ⌘/ for every shortcut the panel has.
Open it from anywhere
⌥Space opens the notch from any app, and hides it again. If the Workspace is open, it brings the window forward instead. No notch on your Mac or display? Tenfold draws one.
