Claude Code is at its best in a terminal, until you run more than one session. Then the work is spread across tabs, the prompt that needs you is in the one you aren’t looking at, and the code each agent writes is something you read after the fact. Tenfold keeps everything that makes Claude Code good, and adds a Mac interface around it.
The real Claude Code in every pane
Each session is Claude Code running in a real terminal, signed in with your account. Tenfold doesn’t proxy, wrap or re-implement the agent, so:
- Your plan and your login keep working: Pro, Max or an API key.
- Your commands, skills, MCP servers and hooks are all there. / lists every command and @ mentions files.
- Every Claude Code update works the day it ships. There’s nothing rebuilt on top of the agent, so there’s nothing to wait for.
- The terminal is always one key away. Press ⌘J to flip a session between its chat and its terminal. Nothing restarts.
A chat view on top of the terminal
The chat view types into the session’s terminal and reads its transcript back. You get a readable conversation without giving up the terminal underneath. Pickers only the terminal draws, like /model, slide up over the chat when you call them.
Beside the session, the inspector shows the task checklist, the files the agent changed and read, overlap warnings, and readouts for context, cost, model, mode and effort. It also has a quick prompt that sends now or queues for when the turn ends.
Answer permission prompts without hunting for them
When an agent stops for a permission or a question, it lands in the Inbox, one decision at a time, oldest first. Answer from the keyboard: a digit picks an answer, ↩ gives the default, Esc denies a permission. Claude Code’s own prompt shows at the same time, and whichever you answer first wins.
Even with the window closed, the prompt reaches you: the agent’s buddy knocks under the Mac notch, and you can answer it right there.
Five layouts for the same sessions
The Workspace window has five layouts, and every one shows the same running sessions. Switch with ⌥⌘1 to ⌥⌘5:
| Layout | Best for |
|---|---|
| Focus | Working closely with one agent while keeping an eye on the rest |
| Split | Watching several agents at once, and broadcasting one prompt to many |
| Board | Seeing the whole fleet at a glance |
| Inbox | Answering the agents that are waiting on you |
| Code | Reviewing the code an agent is writing |
Your Claude Code setup, in one place
Settings has a Claude Code tab that lists every MCP server, skill, plugin, agent and hook, and where each one applies. You can switch skills and plugins on or off, browse catalogues, and add an MCP server by pasting whatever its README gives you. See Manage MCP servers, skills and plugins.
What it needs
A Mac with macOS 26 or later, and Claude Code with a Claude plan or an API key. Tenfold doesn’t ask for Accessibility, Screen Recording or Full Disk Access.
