The Workspace is Tenfold’s main window. It has five layouts, and every one shows the same running sessions. Switch with ⌥⌘1 to ⌥⌘5, or with the switcher in the toolbar. Nothing restarts when you switch.
| Layout | Shortcut | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Focus | ⌥⌘1 | Working closely with one agent while keeping an eye on the rest |
| Split | ⌥⌘2 | Watching several agents at once |
| Board | ⌥⌘3 | Seeing the whole fleet at a glance |
| Inbox | ⌥⌘4 | Answering the agents that are waiting on you |
| Code | ⌥⌘5 | Reviewing the code an agent is writing |
Focus
Focus is the default. It has three columns:
- The rail, on the left: every session, grouped by project, with its buddy, its state and one line of live activity. A card at the top says how many agents need you and jumps to the Inbox. Press ⌘K to filter the rail.
- The focused session, in the middle. A Claude Code session shows as a chat or as its live terminal. Press ⌘J to switch. The chat types into that same terminal and reads its transcript back, so switching never restarts anything.
- The inspector, on the right: overlap warnings, the task checklist, the files the agent changed and read, and readouts for context, cost, model, mode and effort. Beside the terminal, it also has a quick prompt that sends now or queues for when the turn ends.
Split
Split tiles your live sessions to fit the window. Pick an arrangement from the control bar: Fit to window, Two panes, Four panes or Main and stack. Each tile shows a Claude Code session as a chat or as its terminal.
Sessions with nothing going on wait on the bench along the bottom, each with a box to give it a task. Once it starts working, it takes a tile of its own.
Split is also where you broadcast one prompt to several agents. See Parallel agents.
Board
Board shows one tile per session, each with its buddy and what it’s up to. Tiles waiting on you wear a folded amber corner, and you can answer them in place. Finished sessions in a worktree can be reviewed and brought into main. Idle ones take their next instruction. Click a tile to open it.
The header shows a one-line summary of the fleet and what you’ve spent today.
Inbox
Inbox shows one decision at a time. A strip of the waiting buddies, oldest first, sits over the front card. Answer it, and the next one comes up. Permissions and questions land here the moment an agent stops to ask.
Everything works from the keyboard: arrow keys or J and K to move, a digit to pick an answer, ↩ for the default answer, Esc to deny a permission, and O to open the session.
Code
Code follows one session’s changes. It has two views. Press E to switch between them.
- Changes works like a git client: the changed files on the left, the diff the agent is writing in the middle, and its edit timeline on the right. Accept a change with A or reject it with X.
- Editor works like an IDE: the project tree or Source Control on the left, the whole file with the review drawn in place, and the agent’s activity, the file’s history and its outline on the right, over a box for messaging Claude.
⌘⇧R also opens Code, and takes you back to the layout you came from. For every key in Code, see Keyboard shortcuts.
Settings and Usage
Settings (⌘,) and Usage (⌘U) cover the current layout. Press Esc to go back.
